Colebrook Trails is a 3 bedroom vacation home situated on 2 acres with over 230 feet of frontage right on the Mohawk river! This beautiful mountain river is well known for great trout fishing. If you prefer, just relax by the Mohawk and let its soothing sounds take your troubles away.  The Mohawk comes from Diamond Pond in nearby Coleman State Park as well as from the waters of the nearby Balsams and drives into the Connecticut River. There are great hiking trails, waterfalls, historic covered bridges and great view areas for wildlife & bird watching.

Colebrook Trails, right on route 26Balsams Championship golf course

Colebrook Trails is minutes from some of the very best fly fishing in all of New England!  Not only is the Mohawk River in the backyard but we are about halfway between the Androscoggin and Connecticut Rivers. Guided driftboat fishing trips can be arranged through Osprey Adventures. For golfers, the Balsams Resort has the top rated 18 hole golf course in the northeast!

      What's Nearby?

Out front is Highway 26, just minutes from Colebrook, NH.  Just a few miles down the street is the historic Balsam's resort boasting great bike & hike trails plus an award-winning 27 hole golf course.  If your pastime involves flys & lures, the Mohawk River IS the backyard. There's also Big & Little Diamond Pond at Coleman State Park, just one left turn away. The guide book at the chalet will direct you to wonderful wildlife (Moose!) viewing areas, waterfalls, historic covered bridges and a wide variety of dining experiences. Why not make it a "2 nation vacation"?  It's a beautiful 2 hour 30 minute drive to either Montreal or Quebec City and a bit over an hour to the city built on mega-outlet stores, North Conway, NH where big name bargains come with the bonus of tax free shopping.

Watchable Wildlife Corridor
